Rate of Pay: £19.35 - £23.95 per Hour
Summary:
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is seeking Social Workers to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in safeguarding and promoting the well-being of vulnerable children, young people, and adults. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality social work services, undertaking assessments, care planning, interventions, and reviews in line with statutory requirements and best practices.
Responsibilities:
* Engage in effective partnership working with statutory and voluntary organizations to deliver services.
* Undertake assessments and care planning in co-production with children, young people, adults, carers, and other stakeholders.
* Maintain high-quality records, reports, and assessments following policy guidelines.
* Ensure that childrens and young peoples voices are considered in all processes.
* Conduct mental capacity assessments and adhere to the Mental Capacity Act Code of Practice.
Qualifications:
* Professional Social Work qualification (MA/Degree in Social Work or equivalent CQSW, DipSW, CSS).
* Registration with Social Care Wales (or willingness to register upon employment).
* Knowledge of equal opportunities and anti-oppressive practices.
* Understanding of the Social Services and Well-being Act (Wales) 2014 and other relevant legislation.
Experience:
* Experience in assessment, care planning, risk management, and multi-agency collaboration.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage workloads effectively, ensuring timely case recordings and assessments.
* Experience working with children, young people, or adults in a social care setting.
