Directorate
The Directorate of People, Culture and Wellbeing works to deliver on the University's People Strategy with the aim to enable staff to feel they truly belong and can thrive in their roles at the University. Supporting the workforce through recruitment, performance management, learning and development, reward, and engagement.
What you will be doing:
1. Working within the Organisational Development and Culture (ODC) Team to provide high quality administration and co-ordination for a variety of learning and development initiatives in support of the People Strategy and People Charter of the University.
2. Co-ordinate training and programmes, assist in developing training materials and use of learning management systems (LMS) to schedule, record and report on training and development.
3. Collaborate with internal and external contacts to provide excellent customer care and support University wide projects.
4. Provide a welcoming and helpful first point of contact for the ODC team for all internal and external training and development queries.
Qualifications/ Experience:
1. GCSE English and Maths at level 4/Grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications.
2. Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and with great attention to detail.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being able to build rapport with staff at all levels of the University.
4. Experience of effective working in a busy administrative role on varied competing tasks and projects.
5. Experience of providing excellent customer care and service delivery.
