Techniche Global are supporting a leading automotive manufacturer to appoint an Electrical Test Technician Automotive.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Electronic / Electrical test and validation of function, operation & reliability including Power Management, Harness, Body Electronics, Meter, Audio, Telephone.
2. Fundamental understanding of vehicle dis-assembly, assembly, & maintenance techniques.
3. Vehicle system knowledge with the ability to fault find.
4. Understanding of component measurement techniques.
5. Instrumentation set-up.
6. Understanding of vehicle diagnostic tools.
7. Data acquisition & report writing.
8. Facility & instrumentation calibration.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
1. C&G / BTEC L3 would be preferable, ideally in mechanical, electrical or automotive engineering with a recognised apprenticeship or qualification within a relevant field.
2. Fully proficient in the fundamental practical mechanical / electrical skills required for this role (preferably automotive).
3. Ability to work safely and to comply with legal and company safety policies.
4. Fully proficient in Excel data management and producing graphs.
5. A good knowledge of Word and PowerPoint for report writing & presentation preparation.
6. Ability to work independently to manage and prioritise their own workload.
