The post holder willplay a key partin supportingthe diabetes outpatient clinics inthis jointclinical and administrative role
The post holder willassistin providing a comprehensive bookings management service for the diabetes service across Berkshire. The post holder will be the first point of contact with patients and carersGPs, acute trust personnel and external agenciesregardingappointment bookings. The postholder will upload referrals, clinic preparation, photocopying and printing, booking of appointments and data inputting for diabetes specific audits asrequired.
You willassistin developing andmaintainingservices provided to service users and contribute to the safe, efficient, and smooth running of the department including the provision of face-to-face Consultant Led Outpatient clinics. You willassistthe clinical team in the assessment, monitoring of service users by and accurately recording and reporting.
Phlebotomy skills would be desirable
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, with a warm personality and great people skills. You will need to be adaptable to change and be able to influence new ways of working.Both fulltime and part time workingcan be offered.
The post holder will take a key role in supporting the diabetes outpatient clinics in this joint clinical and administrative role
You will be the first point of contact with patients who require specialist appointments.
