Description We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented BT (Building Technology) Support Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing compliance audits, managing key administrative tasks, and ensuring that essential maintenance processes run smoothly. You’ll work closely with site teams and other key stakeholders to maintain compliance standards, streamline maintenance operations, and support the business in achieving operational excellence. Location The primary location is Hatfield. This position will transition to a hybrid model (2 days on-site) upon successful completion of a 3-month training period. Key Responsibilities: Internal Audits & Compliance: Conduct internal compliance audits across current and future sites. Maintain and update internal audit logs and compliance monitoring systems. Produce detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for site management. Record remedial actions and ensure timely follow-ups. Attend audit meetings and present findings to key stakeholders. Maintenance Support: Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks to ensure minimal business disruption. Input and manage maintenance data in the CMMS system. Ensure all necessary documentation (e.g., RAMS, insurance) is prepared for maintenance activities. Raise purchase orders for the central management team using Oracle. Process Improvement & Reporting: Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures within the department. Conduct trend analysis of compliance-related issues. Create ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders. Support the implementation of new processes and systems to drive efficiency. You may be required to undertake additional tasks as reasonably requested by management to support business needs. What We’re Looking For: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks. High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.). Familiarity with CMMS systems (preferred, but not essential). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
