Vibe Recruit's client is looking for an experienced Production Planner to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organisational skills, and effectively communicate with staff at all levels. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a detailed production plan for each manufacturing area, based on the Master Schedule provided by the CEO, ensuring the inclusion of customer-ordered spare parts. Collaborate with the CEO, Design team, and Subcontractor Engineer to define manufacturing routes through the factory and subcontractors for each product type. Create and manage Works Orders in Sage, tracking their progress throughout the production process. Work closely with the Material Controller to maintain and monitor schedules using the Sage add-on MRP package. Oversee production progress and subcontractor activities, ensuring alignment with the production plan. Coordinate with the Lead Buyer and Subcontractor Engineer to manage subcontractor deliveries and pickups in accordance with the Micro Plan. Partner with the Spare Parts Coordinator to schedule and oversee the timely production of spare parts orders. Collaborate with the Warehouse and Purchasing teams to address and resolve material supply issues. Document production control processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed. Take responsibility for 5S implementation and maintenance within the assigned area. Qualifications: Proficient in Sage 200, Word, Excel and powerpoint a requirement.
