The Role:
We are looking for highly motivated and creative Marketing and Student Recruitment Assistants to join our Marketing and Student Recruitment team.
You will:
* Assist the Faculty Marketing Team with marketing activities, create content for digital and print media, maintain Faculty web pages and social media, and improve the Faculty's digital presence.
* Update the University’s Customer Relationship Management system with leads, contacts and records of activity for the faculty
* Assist the Faculty Student Recruitment Officer with organising and delivering recruitment events and initiatives.
* Assist the Faculty Marketing Team in ensuring appropriate Faculty representation at open days, UCAS fairs, exhibitions, and lectures.
To succeed in this role you will be a self-starter, with;
* Demonstrable evidence of marketing, administration, and communications, including webpages and social media content.
* Effective written communication ability, with excellent proofreading and copywriting skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, including the ability to motivate and communicate well with young people.
The successful candidate must be willing and able to undertake regular travel throughout the UK and overnight stay(s) as required. You will be expected to travel efficiently to multiple locations per day, sometimes to locations without public transport, and transport promotional materials and stands to events during these visits. To fulfil these travel requirements, the ability to drive and a clean, driving licence is highly desirable. Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends to support recruitment events.
These appointments are fixed term contracts for 18 months.
