Student Support Worker - Enfield

Location: Enfield
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Student Support Worker to join our team in Enfield. As a Student Support Worker, you will work closely with students to provide various forms of support, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure that students receive the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
2. Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with teachers and other professionals.
3. Support students in managing their emotions and developing coping strategies to deal with challenges.
4. Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents.
5. Promote positive behaviour and reinforce school policies and expectations.
Requirements:
6. Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Empathy and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
9. Patience and resilience in dealing with challenging situations.
10. A commitment to promoting the well-being and academic success of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
