Job summary
Anopportunity has arisen for a 6- 8 session GP to join our team in the Georgianmarket town of Farnham with good local schools and excellent transport links toLondon. The surgery is located within a modern purpose-built building with free parking. Within the Health Centre we have GP meeting rooms, as well as the services of walk-in x-ray, ultrasound and physiotherapy departments. 14 patients per session with a mixture of face to face and telephone calls. Farnham Integrated Care Service is used collaboratively for urgent on the day patients.
Main duties of the job
As a practice we are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed GP to cover 6-8 clinical sessions which would include a weekly duty doctor triage session. The successful candidate would hold their own patient list (size-pro-rata for the number of clinical sessions). We offer a mentor for newly qualified GPs with weekly supervision. We use a clinical triage platform called Patchs and specialist interests are encouraged within the practice.

We are part of Farnham IntegratedCare Services working in collaboration with local practices offering same day access for urgent care along with MSK Practitioners and Home Visiting Services. X-ray, ultrasound and phlebotomy services available within Farnham Centre for Health. We are also a Training Practice. Job responsibilities
SALARIED GP FARNHAM PARK HEALTH GROUP
Sessions are made up of 14 appointments with 8 x 15-minute face to face appointments and 6 x 10-minute telephone appointments.
A daily huddle is held each day at 9am and we hold a clinical meeting for an hour each week.
GP home visits are carried out as required for care home and palliative patients and we also have a Home Visiting Paramedic Team.
Additional Duties
General admin including referrals, correspondence,lab results, prescriptions and document processing.
One duty doctor session per week, dealing with on the day requests, queries and emergencies and working with our care coordinators and triage team.
Attendance at daily huddles and weekly clinical meetings.
Contract / QOF / audit work as and when required.
Insurance reports and other non-GMS work for patients as required.
Participate in our Same Day Service rota, as well as Extended Hours as required.
Ensure Mandatory training is kept up to date.

Experience
Essential
1. Recent experience of working in general practice in the UK.
2. Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
3. Be on the medical performers list.
4. Commitment to and experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary and skill mixed team environment.

7. Annual appraisal and revalidation, when appropriate
