At Happy Valley Pre School, West Bromwich, B76 8NG, we have a part-time vacancy available up to 18 hours per week, Monday - Friday, for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to provide SEN 1:1 support.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified, and caring one-to-one Support Worker. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established nursery where we focus on encouraging children’s development through fun and engaging play. You will be working with a very experienced and dedicated team in a caring, family-friendly, and stimulating environment, inviting to all children, parents, and staff.
Responsibilities:
* The care and supervision of children with regard to their physical, emotional, and intellectual needs.
* Planning and preparation of activities to meet children’s individual needs and working targets, liaising with parents and external professionals ensuring effective communication at all times.
* Assist with the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
* Take part in delivering the highest standards of care.
What we need from you:
* Passion and commitment for working in childcare.
* Experience of working with children with SEN.
* Ability to work shifts between 8.00 am - 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday, up to 18 hours per week.
* Commitment to continual development.
Please note this is a temporary contract lasting until 21st July 2025 and is term-time only.
Applicants must have a good knowledge and understanding of child development, Ofsted welfare requirements, safeguarding, and Early Years Framework standards.
