As our Pharma business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Marketing Director to join our organisation, representing marketing on the global Pharma Leadership team. The focus of the role is to demonstrate customer and business impact via delivery of a strategic marketing plan. Leading and influencing marketers within portfolio platforms and regions, you leverage customer-centric strategies to drive Croda Pharma brand awareness, leverage our innovation portfolio and grow our commercial pipeline. Measures of success include lead generation, customer conversion and engagement, plus NPS.
Reporting into the VP Marketing of our Life Sciences business, you will be working in the fastest-growing business within Crodas portfolio and tasked with leading a global marketing team to develop and sustain a high-performance working culture built on innovation, curiosity and inclusivity.
Who we're looking for:
Degree qualified in a technical discipline (Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences etc) and/or prior experience in customer marketing within the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Consumer Health or Biotechnology manufacturing sectors
Highly inclusive leader with a background leading global marketing and cross functional teams and embedding improvement methodologies within a large, global organisation.
Strategic thinker, creative with excellent analytical skills and exceptional leadership ability
Strong customer marketing expertise; including digital proficiency across tools and platforms and experience in driving impact across online customer experience
Experience in delivering high revenue product launches, in collaboration with specialised innovation teams
Analytical mindset to benchmark the success of the marketing functions and understand customer and competitor behaviour
Excellent communication and influencing skills to build relationships internally and with key customers globally and act as a key member of the Global Pharma Leadership team
Passion for sustainability and innovation with a clear vision on how to elevate both in an complex organisation
Key Responsibilities:
Providing leadership and strategic direction (3-5 years) for the global marketing function to drive commercial pipeline and revenues
Representing marketing on the Pharma Leadership team. Focused on embedding strategic marketing practices to align marketing with business objectives and drive a culture of continual improvement
Building strong relationships with cross functional teams in a matrix organisation, leveraging their expertise and specialisms for maximum market impact
Leading our Croda Pharma brand, driving awareness and governing the brand globally
Establishing and driving digital marketing and selling priorities, using a data-led approach to improve user experience across prioritised customer journeys. This will include our roadmap to eCommerce.
Understanding the changing needs of our customers and prospects, as well as building close relationships with our sales force and global media partners will be essential.
Ensuring that succession and coaching is provided across the global marketing team to deliver/maintain the correct organisational structure and skills balance.

This position can be based at any of our Croda sites globally with particularly preference to being based at our Head/Regional Offices in UK, Europe or North America.
