Job Description
Our client is a Medical Device Manufacturer at the forefront of decontamination technologies within Dental, Veterinary, Podiatry, Tattoo, Lab and Beauty markets. Having been in the industry for over 30 years, they have a large customer base in the UK and are still a growing business. Amongst autoclaves, they also provide dental chairs and many other decontamination products.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Performing routine maintenance and repair of products in line with company procedures throughout the South West of England.
2. Maintaining vehicle stock levels to enable effective and efficient servicing of equipment and providing feedback to service management regarding inefficiencies relating to stock issues.
3. Identifying and forwarding sales opportunities to internal sales teams on a continuing basis in line with company procedures.
4. Handling customers in a professional manner.
5. Providing cover to adjacent areas during holiday and sickness periods.
6. Understanding customers' needs with respect to service deliverables.
Person Specification:
1. A formal qualification in an electro-mechanical engineering discipline.
2. At least three years' experience of servicing equipment in a customer-facing environment (field or site-based will both be considered).
3. Excellent fault diagnosis and analytical skills.
4. Ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues at all levels.
5. Demonstrate a very good understanding of the business needs attached to after-sales service.
6. Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility to ensure the company delivers its commitments.
7. HTM2010/HTM2030 experience would be beneficial.
Package:
1. Up to £30,000 dependent on experience.
