Part time (22.5 hours) Dynamic and experienced administrator wanted to help lead our admin function in the Teign Core Community Mental Health team. Based in our Newton Abbot offices, the 22.5 hours can be worked over 3 days or across the week but must include Monday.
This role works together with another administrator to lead a dedicated admin team working in partnership with our clinical team managers and colleagues in delivering high quality, patient-focused care.

Main duties of the job
* Lead and manage the administrative team, ensuring efficient and effective work flow responding to demand.
* Support the Team Managers in daily administrative tasks and strategic planning.
* Advocate for and lead the team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
* Ensure all administrative processes meet the high standards and values of the trust.
* Utilise IT and office systems, including System 1 and Microsoft Office - MS Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook are essential.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
* Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and staff.
* Develop and implement office management procedures to improve efficiency.

Qualifications
* RSA 3 Word Processing or equivalent level of experience in practice. NVQ3 in administration or equivalent level administrative knowledge and experience. GCSE English and maths (or equivalent). Evidence of continuing professional and personal development.
* ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence). Shorthand, speed writing or audio typing.
Qualities
* Able to demonstrate the values of the Trust.
Experience
* Proven line management within an administration environment.
* Demonstrable experience of MS Office utilising MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams.
* Accurate typing at 50wpm.
* Complex minute taking.
* Experience of dealing with confidential and complex information.
* Demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills; attention to detail. Ability to take accurate formal and informal minutes.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload and adapt to change when required.
* Confident and professional telephone manner.
* Ability to adhere to policies and procedures.
* Knowledge of healthcare, particularly an interest in the Mental Health and Learning Disability Sector.
