If so this could be the next opportunity you have been looking for as our client is looking for a compassionate and motivated candidate within a Service Manager / Team Leader role providing exceptional support to those with learning disabilities including brain injuries and autism. You will be working with management to carry out appraisals and supervisions, support and rota planning as well as coordinating your team to ensure they are maintaining the high standards the company operates to and pride themselves on.

1. Starting salary of approx. £25-£27k per annum based on FT hours, part time contracts available too.

Responsibilities
1. Working on-shift, leading your team in outstanding practice.
2. Providing Practice Leadership in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), including trauma-informed approaches.
3. Lead, manage and develop people in your team.
4. Supporting the service and unit through rota planning, risk assessments, ensuring the regular training of the team as well as appraisals and supervisions to ensure the staff are meeting targets in place but also developing their skillsets and confidence.
5. Co-produce services, developing and maintaining professional relationships with support networks, liaising with families, colleagues and external agencies to maximise the support and safety of all service users.
6. Support wider organisational risks, priorities, development, and projects.
Requirements
1. Ideally NVQ 3 in Social Care or equivalent.
2. Solid understanding of the health and social sector as well as previous track record of supporting those with learning disabilities and autism.
3. Experience working within a PBS focused setting.
4. A confident leader from the front, back and centre of their team, depending on circumstance, able to supervise and motivate effectively and with a positive and caring approach to all staff matters.
5. Great communication skills.
6. A genuine passion for the care sector and helping people.
7. Flexible to tasks and working hours.
8. Computer literate, able to complete paperwork and documentation.
9. Full UK Driving License and own vehicle.
10. Happy to work weekends on rotation.
11. Must have the right to work and not require sponsorship.
