OneMedical Property is on a mission to design, develop, invest in, and deliver fully integrated and innovative NHS healthcare properties, and is in search of a Development and Delivery Lead to join their team at Bank Top Farm and help them do that with professionalism and dependability.
Main duties of the job
Working with and reporting to the Head of Delivery and Asset Management, the Development and Delivery Lead will support and deliver on all build projects across OneMedical Property (OMP).
They will be responsible for all elements of the construction and build process, regardless of whether they are small or large build projects, new or existing premises. Therefore, it would be beneficial if the post holder is proficient in using visual software packages to produce presentation diagrams and early design concepts such as Sketchup, Rhino, Photoshop, CAD, Revit, or BIM.
The Development and Delivery Lead will provide project management support and delivery for all new construction and properties undergoing sale and leaseback. With a strong project management background and understanding of construction, they will ensure each stage of the project is managed in line with timescales agreed with key external and internal stakeholders.
They will work with the wider OMP team as well as key external stakeholders to continue to develop and champion new ways of working within the build process, thinking outside of the box to deliver new build projects in more effective and efficient ways.

Job responsibilities
What you'll work on
* Be responsible for all construction elements for all OMP projects
* Carry out regular site visits to all healthcare construction sites that OMP is leading on
* Undertake research and site visits of potential new developments with external stakeholders
* Develop and maintain relationships with construction and property lawyers to ensure we can deliver on the projects
* Liaise with project design teams on the building developments; chair and attend regular project meetings with the design teams
* Prepare and disseminate regular reports on current and future construction projects
* Liaise with building surveyors and valuers to support the sale and leaseback process and construction projects
* Work with key stakeholders to ensure that all external requirements are met with the build such as Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM)
* Conduct financial appraisal of the property portfolio, managing live sites and pipelines of development
* Build and maintain relationships with architects, project managers, construction managers, M&E consultants, etc., managing the scope of design and the professional team

Location
This role will require regular site visits to our healthcare premises or working from our base office at LS21 1PY. Consequently, own transport would be required. Our offices are surrounded by fields and pathways and are just minutes away from Golden Acre Park. If you are a dog lover, this is the best place for you. Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of working on built environment and construction projects and their delivery
* Knowledge and experience of all current construction methods, with an eye on potential upcoming changes
* Prior experience in construction or development industries
* Prior experience as an architectural assistant, architect, surveyor, build project manager, design manager would be a plus
Skills and Knowledge
* Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset, with a capacity for innovative thinking and agile, adaptable action
* Knowledge and experience in using visual software packages to produce presentation diagrams and early design concepts such as Sketchup, Rhino, Photoshop, CAD, Revit, or BIM would be a great plus but it is not essential
* Commercial knowledge in the building sector, as well as healthcare estate and built environment delivery would be ideal
* Valid driving license and access to a personal car
