We’ve an exciting new opportunity to join the AXA Commercial Future Skills and Capability team, responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of learning for employees in line with our Future Skills plans. You’ll also co-ordinate early careers activities, working with Employer Brand and Talent Acquisition colleagues to maximise attraction opportunities and generate strong diversity across various entry pipelines.
You’ll understand trends and opportunities related to skills-based organisations, market competitors, and educational establishments. Providing insight and education for key stakeholder groups in AXA Commercial, that’ll help to inform future strategies and partnerships.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at either our Glasgow, Bolton or Birmingham office, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you’ll be doing:
* Assist and coordinate technical development programmes for growth of employees in line with strategic focus areas.
* Co-ordinate solutions to address ‘core and common’ skills needs, in collaboration with AXA Commercial Head of Underwriting Development and Learning and Development colleagues.
* Ownership and maintenance of the Learning Management System, including line manager communications and delegate check-ins.
* Co-ordinate early careers activities as dictated by annual cycle.
* Facilitate opportunities for future talent to network and connect with mentors.
* Management of Alumni Groups and Networks.
* Oversight of AXA Commercial new employee induction process and events.
* Explore potential partnership opportunities with external organisations and communities to support the AXA Commercial ambition.

What you’ll bring:
* Experience of working in a training co-ordination/ Early Careers role, with multi-site/ matrix complexity.
* Knowledge of skills-based thinking, educational pathways and external best practice.
* Experience of working as part of a team to deliver at pace.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven ability to balance own workstack of competing demands.
* Competent in use of dedicated learning systems (or equivalent).
* Strong understanding of social media platforms and usage, in relation to brand advocacy, talent attraction and learning.
* Business acumen.
