Hopewell House provides compassionate support to individuals experiencing complex mental health issues, driven by an enthusiastic, professional staff team dedicated to providing person centred care.
The support delivered is tailored to and developed with an individual encompassing all aspects of wellbeing including mental, physical, spiritual and daily living skills. Our goal is to increase independence and feelings of accomplishment & assisting people to move on to more independent living.
The service is ran in collaboration with service users, encouraging feedback and involvement in all areas of decision making.
Hopewell House is a supported accommodation service based close to Guilford town centre.
The service accommodates 10 residents & a variety of activities are held daily to encourage service user participation to develop skills, learn new coping strategies and to arouse new interests.
The service is staffed 24 hours with one members of staff sleeping in overnight (for which an additional allowance is paid).
We are looking for a motivated individual with experience of caring or supporting individuals with mental health issues to work alongside the residents, putting them at the heart of all we do.
Key responsibilities: To support people who use the service, Contribute to team work and Activities.
As a Support worker you will be responsible for key working residents, supporting them to achieve their goals and aspirations, working on a one to one basis or providing support in the form of group activities. As well as assisting in the day to day running of the home. As well as developing skills for our residents we believe in developing your skills and are keen to offer training to enhance your professional development.
