Job Title: Bid Writer Department: New Sales Location: (Remote/Hybrid/In-office) Reports to: Head of New Sales Job Purpose: The Bid Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality bids and proposals for various sectors, including public sector, higher education, and private sector opportunities. The candidate must possess expert knowledge in bid writing, be proficient in using portals and general bid platforms, and be familiar with Loopio software. Experience or knowledge of the water treatment and Legionella industries, while not essential, would be advantageous. In addition, the role includes creating, maintaining, and updating the company’s bid library and bid collateral to streamline the bid process. The role involves collaboration with various departments to deliver compelling and winning bids, ensuring adherence to deadlines and client requirements. Desirable: • Experience with large, multi-disciplinary bids.• Knowledge of the water treatment and Legionella compliance industries.• Familiarity with contract law and terms related to public sector contracts.• Knowledge of bid frameworks and government contract standards.• Experience in using CRM systems and managing bid pipelines. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, English, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).• APMP Foundation or Practitioner certification (desirable but not essential).
