In addition to delivering to 19 adult learners who wish to improve their English skills and gain recognised qualifications. Students will study across a range of courses which include; Functional Skills Entry, Level 1 to Level 2 as well as GCSE. Key Responsibilities: To teach on a range of programmes, providing high quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of individual students/apprentices and groups in line with the College’s strategic priorities and objectives. To provide flexible assessment opportunities and closely plan, monitor, track and record student/apprentice retention, achievement and success. To contribute to the development and delivery of high quality, relevant curriculum and programmes. Curriculum Development responsibilities include: Actively contributing to the development of new programmes within the curriculum area Producing annual schemes of work and/or training plans for all subjects/programmes to be taught To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you: Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant area Experience of teaching GCSE English Language Ability to teach mainstream and adult students Teaching Qualification in a relevant subject (QTS/QTLS) Ability to meet targets within set timescales Ability to work well in teams but also to work independently, with the minimum of supervision Diversity and Inclusion Equality, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are central to the work of the College.
