Job Description
The Role:
Reporting to the Global HR Analytics Associate Director, the HR Data Analyst will have a pivotal role within the Global HR Analytics Team at Turner & Townsend. Manipulation and integration of data from diverse sources, focusing on automating these processes where feasible. Providing data insights to enable business decisions, employing advanced analytics tools and skills. Identifying and sharing data insights with stakeholders. You will have strong expertise in HR Data and how it can be used. You will be comfortable providing project management support to identified HR projects.
Responsibilities include:
* Manipulation and integration of data from diverse sources, focusing on automating these processes where feasible.
* Investigate and resolve data quality issues by collaborating with various support services teams.
* Apply data problem-solving skills to design and implement accurate advanced analytics.
* Support the Global HR Analytics Associate Director with data analysis in all areas of core HR data and be capable of offering recommendations/solutions.
* Provide project management support to the HR team managing projects throughout the year in line with the HR activity calendar.
* Ability to project manage HR-related projects, creating project schedules, identify risks and ensuring timelines are agreed and met.
* You will manage competing and changing priorities which involve quick turnaround times, so the ability to demonstrate experience of this is essential.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience working with large data sets, data reconciliation, and data investigation.
* Familiarity with data visualisation tools and techniques.
* Advanced Excel skills and the ability to manipulate large amounts of data is a requirement.
* Experience of building reports, managing, and interpreting data and providing analysis and commentary to identify key issues and themes.
* Good understanding of other data reporting software including Power BI would be advantageous, with knowledge of using Power Query.
* Experience within a central HR system preferably iTrent and have a working knowledge of SAP Business Objects, but not essential.
* Proven experience in a HR Reporting function, ideally including working alongside management and cross-functional business partners with a focus on data integrity.
* Ability to produce quality work in short timescales and under pressure.
