About the Role:
We are looking for a Site Service Engineer to join our team. This role involves travelling across the UK to maintain, fit, and service conveyor and transmission belts at customer sites. You will also spend approximately 30% of your time working in our workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend customer sites to install, service, and repair conveyor and transmission belts.
* Work professionally and build strong relationships with customers.
* Be available for an on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks) to respond to emergency customer callouts.
* Carry out workshop-based tasks when not on customer sites.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
* Use digital systems for job logging and reporting.
* Undertake training and development as required.
What We’re Looking For:
* Mechanically minded individual with basic engineering knowledge.
* Previous experience in site-based work (experience with conveyor belts is an advantage).
* A clean driving licence is essential.
* Ability to work away from home when required.
* Physically fit due to the nature of the work.
* Health & safety awareness.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Part-qualified in mechanical fitting/engineering would be advantageous.
