As a Strategic Senior HR Business Partner, you are opening your career to an impactful role with a company whose purpose is to create medicines that make life better for people around the world. You will be a key player within the Northern European Hub team, responsible for the development and implementation of HR strategies and programs that enable our teams to achieve our company objectives.
The NE Hub comprises of 1,000 Medics, Scientists, Commercial and Business Support functions. Your role is crucial to attracting, developing and retaining talent, fostering a positive work culture, supporting and coaching leaders and managers to enable organisation effectiveness as we continue to grow and transform our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner closely with business leaders to provide strategic and operational advice, consultation and coaching to ensure that the workforce is diverse, engaged, motivated and retained to achieve organisational goals.
* Proactively assess organisation needs and leverage external insights to implement innovative changes to the organisational design and elements of the employee journey.
* Bring bold perspectives and innovative solutions to solve business problems, partnering with SME’s in HR to ensure policies, programs and plans best serve the needs of the business.
* Work with RPO partner and coach managers on workforce needs to inform recruitment and selection.
* Drive talent/succession review processes to enable capability with skills required for success, this includes key talent channels such as Graduate and MBA programmes.
Position Requirements:
* 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist / Business Partner – experienced delivering core HR processes, including; workforce effectiveness, talent management, staffing, change management etc.
* Experience managing Organisation Transformation programs or, a strong theoretical knowledge of Organisation Transformation (via CIPD, or similar) and experience working within an Organisation Transformation program.
* Ability to think strategically, successfully navigate ambiguity and complexity, solve problems and implement solutions to meet business needs.
* Ability to build trust, establish credibility and manage senior stakeholders whilst working cross-functionally in a matrixed organisation.
* Strong project management skills, ability to build systematic solutions to solve business problems, challenging the status quo and systems/process gaps to improve effectiveness.
* Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate data into insights to inform decision making.
* Ability to work on-site in Basingstoke on a hybrid basis (weekly attendance).
