SEMH Teaching Assistant - Kidderminster
Aspire Agency is seeking a dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to support students with SEMH needs in an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Role Details:
1. Location: Kidderminster
2. Schedule: 5 days per week, term-time only
3. Start Date: ASAP
4. Contract Type: Ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity
5. Transport: Must drive, as there is no public transport to the school
What We Are Looking For:
1. Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, or additional learning needs
2. A calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting students
3. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships
4. Experience using de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed approaches is desirable
5. Happy to do personal care
6. A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
