Job Purpose:
* This position is a key within the GBI Haleon Supply Chain Team.
* Responsible for the demand planning of the growing Pain Category.
* Not only will you be responsible for driving performance and doing what matters most in these arenas, but you will be expected to spot opportunities for continuous improvement and positive change.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Running Forecast Reviews for Key customer accounts with full responsibility for Forecast Accuracy and Bias Matrix.
* Driving a better understanding of forecast accuracy and forecast bias metrics across demand team through analyst support and shared with business stakeholders. Root Cause Analysis / Continuous improvement.
* Working with Finance, Insights, Sales & Marketing teams to drive assumption-based forecasting approach.
* Interpreting the key trends impacting individual account performance.
* Provide an accurate volume and value demand plan, based on base demand, promotional uplift, sales & Marketing Intelligence, NPI forecast.
* Challenging the sales input to forecast and ensure that the volume and value forecast are aligned.
* Working effectively with managers (to Controller level) in the Commercial, Finance and Supply organisations and will become a member of the Multi-Function Team for your brands.
* Liaison with central supply chain and commercial category organisations concerning NPI forecasts.
* Developing demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
* Reviewing historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, support transition towards statistical forecast models for medium to long term planning. Refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Degree level qualification.
* SAP Experience.
* Experience in Supply Chain and Demand Planning.
* Strong level of numeracy with the ability to manage, analyse and interpret complex data.
* Strong communicator with team building skills and ability to manage key stakeholders.
* Ability to consolidate and articulate insights concisely.
* Experience in fast moving consumer environment or healthcare would be an advantage.

* Ability to use combination of statistical forecasting and assumptions-based approach to generate and maintain both medium and long-term plans.
* Can optimise plans for consumers and priority customers where known constraints exist.

* Must be able to thrive in a fast-moving environment with volatile demand.
