RCC invites you to apply for our Testing Center Technician opening. This position is part time with no benefits and works 29 hours/week at our Glenns campus. The anticipated hiring range is $15 per hour or greater, commensurate with experience.

Reporting to the Testing Center Manager, this position provides customer service to students, staff, faculty, and external customers for proctoring college related testing services. Testing can take place in the college testing centers, classrooms or other areas off campus affiliated with the academic environment. The successful candidate must be able to work flexible hours to include some evenings and weekends as well as occasional work at Warsaw campus.
Duties include but are not limited to working in consultation with the Testing Center Manager to provide effective, professional customer service in the testing centers and assisting with the administration of testing processes within the college community by providing proctoring services and ensuring all testing procedures and policies are observed. This position also performs administrative tasks associated with testing center processes. The incumbent will work closely with college faculty, student support services and Workforce and Community Development to assure the appropriate and specific testing instructions are administered. Minimum Qualifications:
1. Demonstrated ability to ensure the security of confidential materials
2. Strong customer service skills
3. Effective verbal and written communication skills with a diverse population
4. Strong computer skills in a variety of computer applications and software and ability to learn new technologies associated with the testing learning environment
5. Ability to work in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
6. Must be detail-oriented and possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
8. Experience in an academic setting
9. Experience proctoring in an academic testing environment
10. Experience using a Student Information System.
