The peer worker will provide one-to-one support and work as part of an integrated team within the surgeries providing timely access to information, advice, guidance, tools and self management strategies to those refered to the service. The role involves accurate and timely recording of patient information on to an IT system.
Have personal experience of mental health & wellbeing challenges
Experience of supporting people with mental health challenges
Have good communication skills
Have IT skills - understanding of basic IT pacakges - word, excel, publisher etc.
Have full driving licence, access to a vehicle to drive for work purposes.
