About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC Foundation team as a Sport Development Coordinator.
The LFC Foundation is growing their sports provision. You will be responsible to deliver a variety of sport sessions across our sports programmes in both school and community settings. You will also deal with the day to day running of the programmes.
What will you be doing?
1. Deliver the projects in line with the project plan ensuring all KPI’s are met
2. Ensure quality and safeguarding standards are achieved and maintained
3. Ensure equality and diversity is considered in all decision making
4. Work closely with local and regional sports clubs, NGB’s and partner organisations
5. Support the development of a talent ID pathway for young people
6. To encourage and mentor participants to join our programmes
7. Deliver social action sessions and workshops along with tournaments and events
8. Ensure effective collection of all monitoring and evaluation data
9. Record data on LFC Foundation databases
10. Provide timely reports and analysis of performance
11. Support the creation of a marketing plan to successfully promote the programme
12. Ensure case studies and PR opportunities are regularly undertaken in line with Club, and Foundation guidelines
13. Provide content for LFC Foundation social media
Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will have strong experience in coaching, planning and delivering sports sessions to young people with a recognised coaching qualifications (level 2 and above) across a variety of sports. You will have project management skills and be able to organise tournaments and events. It is important you have good knowledge of the sport sector including sport clubs and NGBs. The right candidate will be able to build strong stakeholders relationships with excellent communication skills. It is desirable if you have experience designing sport-based curriculums.

This is a Fixed-Term Contract opportunity ending Months from the agreed start date, working hours per week, 5 from 7 days with weekend work required. Your main base will Anfield Sports Community Centre, Liverpool however the post holder will also be required to work from other locations across Merseyside from time to time and be willing to travel within England and Wales.
