Job title: Licensed clinical Social Worker Location: RAF Alconbury and RAF Molesworth, England Duties: The applicant shall observe and participates in squadron activities in order to identify psychosocial stressors and barriers to optimal human performance. The applicant shall develop and implements initiatives to mitigate psychosocial stressors and risks and optimize airmen performance. The applicant shall provide psychological consultation, education, and training to military commanders/senior leaders, other mental health professionals, and medical staff. The applicant shall conduct psych diagnostics assessments and provides evidence-based psychotherapy Qualification: The applicant shall have knowledge of military organizations and culture and the unique stressors upon workers in an operational military workplace. The applicant shall have knowledge of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) of the American Psychiatric Association to evaluate psychiatric disorders and apply professional diagnostic skills. Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands. The applicant must have practiced as an independent licensed clinical social worker within the past two years. The applicant must possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
