We have an exciting new opportunity available at JACK RYAN in Glasgow as an Account Manager.
As an Account Manager, you will be a key-client contact working on the client services team in managing the successful delivery of exciting advertising campaigns for your assigned clients. You will have strong organisational and project management skills to ensure key client deliverables are met.
Account Manager Key Duties
With Excellent Relationship Building, Project management and Communication skills, and strong knowledge of our media solutions, the client Account Manager is responsible for:
* Assist clients across the campaign development process.
* Manage campaign activities, in partnership with central Ad Operations (AdOps), ensuring integration with overall media strategies.
* Work closely with our cross functional (XFN) teams including our strategy teams to formulate award-winning and effective media strategies.
* Develop coherent planning recommendations and confidently challenge briefs and timelines.
* Collaborate with specialists for cohesive performance campaigns and optimise campaign performance based on data insights.
* Build strong relationships internally and externally while creating compelling narratives for clients.
* Communicate effectively and utilize the IntelligentJACK (iJACK) platform to ensure SLA’s are met.
* Utilise our industry-leading audience research tools to formulate effective client strategies for targeting.
* Ensure our audited Brand Safety standards are always adhered to across all media solutions.
What are we looking for?
* 3 to 5 years experience in an account management / client solutions role, with knowledge of channels like Paid Search, SEO, and Programmatic Display; familiarity with ATL channels preferred.
* Experience working as an Account Manager at a Media Agency or Media Owner.
* Strong organisational, Project management and Communication skills.
* You should be excited by offering innovative media solutions that are not only effective but excite audiences.
* To work across several clients in the public sector across the UK & Asia.
* Candidates should have an integrated background and be comfortable working on developing client media proposals across Offline & Online channels.
* Willing to immerse themselves into a client’s business and industry to deliver award-winning effective media campaigns.
* Maintain client relationships and ensure requests are dealt with efficiently, interpreting these into clear and accurate internal briefs to our central Ad Operations (AdOps) team.
* Able to work across cross-functional (XFN) teams to deliver a timely and accurate client experience.
* Candidates will need to be able to drive projects from briefing, presenting to clients and through to Implementation and Reporting.
Account Manager Qualifications / Skills & Experience
* Ideally hold a Bachelors Degree or hold an English A-Level (or scottish equivalent) with a high pass; B, A or A+
* Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in evaluating digital performance and using measurement tools.
* Media Knowledge: Deep understanding of media planning and buying processes.
* Passion: A drive for marketing excellence and innovative solutions.

* Proven writing ability with outstanding written English grammar, spelling and vocabulary.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for relationship building.
* Process driven, following a structured quality management system.
* Strong Microsoft or Google Suite skills (Docs, Sheets), including formatting and knowledge and experience of other systems such as Google Sheets.
Measures of success
In three months, you would have:
• Built a great relationship with colleagues and clients.
In six months, you would have:
• Grown into an autonomous account manager who has project managed several advertising comms campaigns.
In 12 months, you would have:
• Seen by clients and colleagues as a valuable member of the team who has the knowledge and skills to create effective, award winning advertising.
