ROLE PURPOSE Lead the marketing team to develop and implement the Injectables strategic and operational marketing plans for Merz Aesthetics in the UK and Ireland. Provide insights, knowledge, guidance and facilitate the development and implementation of sustainable and compliant short and long-term plans to meet the company’s commercial objectives.
Lead the development and maintenance of the Injectables short and long-term marketing planning and approval process, ensuring contribution and alignment with Country Manager, Marketing Director, Medical, Medical Education, Digital and Sales
Lead the implementation of the Injectables marketing plans
Represent Injectables Portfolio for UK & I at a Regional and Global level, importing and exporting marketing insights and best practices
Actively contribute to the Aesthetics UK & I Management team, shaping the business
Lead the performance of the Injectables UK & I Marketing team
Build and maintain a network of external customers and market influencers to inform strategy and support effective implementation of the marketing plan
Close cross-functional working across Marketing, Medical and Sales Leadership Team
Close working relationship with Regional & Global Marketing and Regional & Global Medical Affairs
Support the team to recruit and retain top quality marketing, market research, digital and PR agencies to assist in the development and implementation of high quality campaigns and materials
Business/Marketing or life science graduate
Post graduate marketing qualification – CIM or equivalent preferred
Extensive experience of marketing and people management experience in pharmaceuticals preferred
Sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry preferred
Experienced Senior Businessperson commercial signatory (MHRA/PMCPA)
Ability to understand the Aesthetics environment and adapt to changing customer needs
Customer engagement skills - ability to understand systems, processes and resources available internally and to bring in the right expertise at the right time to drive commercial sales success
Excellent planning and prioritisation skills
Good level of financial acumen
Computer literate with competence in working with data/multiple systems/CRM
