The Role
As a Technical Leader and Systems Integrator Digital Engineering Evaluation Capability - Principal, you will have the opportunity to provide technical leadership and IT systems integration expertise to engineering and technical teams with a focus on the overall IT Systems solution.
Day-to-day, you’ll work in conjunction and as a partnership with the Deputy Chief Engineer Digital, Project and Programme management team enabling the project to meet its business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Embedding Systems Engineering methodologies in programme technical delivery and ensuring consistency of technical processes, methods and tools to meet project requirements
* Making key decisions of the selection and advice on technical solutions especially in respect to IT Systems
* Dealing with complex stakeholders in an environment ensuring integrated technical solutions that meet the customers’ needs and requirements
* Ensuring the integrated technical outputs from the delivery team are compliant with relevant regulations
* Managing customer requirements and system requirements, production and the update of the technical delivery plan including the management of associated artefacts throughout the engineering project lifecycle
Essential experience of the Technical Leader and Systems Integrator Digital Engineering Evaluation Capability - Principal:
* Extensive IT Systems design, development, integration and verification/validation experience
* Proven experience of strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to make decisions
* Experience of Cloud computing concepts and system engineering toolsets
* The ability to be able to efficiently manage people, resources and workflows
* A strong knowledge of engineering governance and the ability to articulate the technical scope of the project to stakeholder

* Degree level qualifications
