We are currently recruiting for Crab Pickers our prestigious client based in Hounslow. Our client is a leading name in the seafood industry, known for our commitment to delivering high-quality seafood products to our customers.
Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to work as Seafood Processors, specifically responsible for breaking apart crabs and extracting the delicious crab meat.
This role is essential to ensuring that our seafood products meet the highest standards of quality and taste.
Shift times:
Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm
Responsibilities:
-Safely and efficiently break apart crabs and remove crab meat while adhering to food safety and quality standards.
-Clean, wash, and prepare crab meat for packaging according to company procedures.
-Inspect crab meat for quality, ensuring that only the best product reaches our customers.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a hygienic working environment.
-Operate and clean processing equipment as needed.
Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain compliance with food safety regulations.
-Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
-Report any equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
-Participate in training programs to improve skills and knowledge of seafood processing techniques.
What we are looking for:
-Previous experience in seafood processing or a similar role is a plus but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
-A strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
-Happy to work in a chilled environment
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
-Attention to detail and a focus on product quality.
-Willingness to work with seafood products, including crabs.
-Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
-Food hygiene and safety knowledge is an advantage.
