Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team as a Senior Culinary Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily food preparation, assisting the head chef in menu planning, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and presentation standards, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Culinary Skills: Possess strong culinary skills, including food preparation and menu planning.
* Team Management: Demonstrate excellent team management and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff.
* Knowledge of Italian Cuisine: Have a deep understanding of Italian cuisine and be able to prepare and present dishes to a high standard.
* Food Safety and Sanitation: Possess knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
* Communication and Organization: Display excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
* Culinary Degree or Certification: Possess a culinary degree or certification, with relevant experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role.
