The paramedic practitioner will be required to work autonomously as part of the team, providing same day response to unwell care home residents, and scheduled minor illness clinics (either via telephone or face to face appointments, they may be required to undertake home visits as we develop our home visiting service. The successful applicant will lead regular Care Home rounds, providing proactive clinical care to identified residents. The role provides a range of services such as assessment, differential diagnosis and treatment, referring patients appropriately, as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedure. The following are the core responsibilities of the paramedic practitioner. There may be on occasion a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent on factors such as workload and staffing levels.
