We are seeking a Practice Manager due to the planned retirement of our long-standing Practice Manager. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our dedicated team which includes a deputy Practice Manager & an administrative team.
Main duties of the job
* Strategic planning and development, contributing to the practice's business plan.
* Financial management, including budgeting, payroll, financial reporting, liaising with accountants.
* Human resources management, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
* Operational management, ensuring efficient appointment systems, and IT infrastructure.
* Compliance and governance, ensuring adherence to CQC standards, GDPR, and health and safety regulations.
* Patient services management, addressing patient feedback and complaints.
* IT and data management, ensuring data security and effective use of practice systems (EMIS web, Docman, Accurx).

Job responsibilities
You will be responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day management of the practice, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and the smooth running of all operational aspects. You will join our Senior Partner in engaging with our active Primary Care Network.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths.
* Completed further education (e.g. A-levels, NVQ, vocational qualifications).
* Degree qualification or equivalent.
Experience
* Strong IT skills & adaptable to new innovations.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Sound financial management skills. Good financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and financial reports.
* A proactive and problem-solving approach.
* Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures.
* Experience as a GP Practice Manager or in a management role within a management sector.
