Job Summary: The Ventilation Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all ventilation-related work complies with the PAS2030 guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of safety, performance, and quality. This role will involve coordinating ventilation analysis, installations, maintenance, and ensuring that all work meets relevant regulations and industry best practices, particularly focusing on building energy efficiency.
Role and Responsibilities:
Ventilation Analysis & Inspections
* Conduct detailed analysis of ventilation systems in domestic properties.
* Ensure analysis complies with PAS2030 guidelines for ventilation and building regulations.
Project Coordination
* Coordinate the installation and servicing of ventilation systems in line with PAS2030 standards.
* Liaise with installers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Ensure that all ventilation work is documented thoroughly and compliant with PAS2030 certification requirements.
Compliance & Documentation
* Maintain detailed records of all work done, ensuring full compliance with PAS2030 and other applicable standards.
* Ensure correct certification of work as per PAS2030 guidelines and local building regulations.
Quality Control & Safety
* Monitor the quality of ventilation work to ensure it meets the required performance standards.
* Oversee the safe installation and maintenance of ventilation systems, ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Conduct post-installation inspections to ensure systems are operating as expected.
* Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and changes to PAS2030 guidelines.
Client and Stakeholder Communication
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding ventilation works.
* Provide technical advice and updates to clients, ensuring clear communication about system designs, installations, and performance.
Performance Monitoring
* Evaluate the effectiveness of installed ventilation systems.
* Provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades, based on performance data.
