Location: Our office is based near Stoneleigh in Warwickshire, this role will be remote working. Position: To develop strong relationships with Centres in the region and identify opportunities to provide relevant support, advice and services that create value for each Centre To identify common areas of Centre needs and input to the development of relevant business toolkits and practical training To encourage participation through Centres in order to support horse riders, horse owners and those seeking professional qualifications To promote the BHS Approved Centre Scheme to all centres and actively recruit new centres to the scheme Requirements: What you’ll be doing: Acting as a dedicated point of contact for BHS Approved Centres in relevant Region/Nation and develop good working relationships with each Centre Understand each Centre’s needs and provide appropriate support to ensure each Centre is aware of and can access Approved Centre toolkits, templates, information and training Provide pre-inspection support to existing centres and advice on how to prepare for inspections Identify opportunities to promote the Approved Centre scheme to new Centres and help Proprietors understand the benefits of being part of the Scheme Liaise with other BHS departments and the Regional/National Managers to ensure good communication and understanding of all activities relevant to Centres in your Region/Nation Provide support to Centres with regards to setting up and delivering BHS recreational training – Challenge awards, Pony Stars and professional qualifications – the BHS Pathway What you won’t be doing: Doing the same job day in day out Looking for tasks to fill your day Working on your own This is a great role for you if: … you have excellent understanding of the equestrian community/industry and the work of the British Horse Society … you have lived experience of managing an equestrian business e.g. riding school or livery yard … you have a good work ethic and the ability to see a task through to completion … you have a positive attitude with the ability to work independently but also be a team player …you want to work in an organisation that supports you to bring your full, authentic self to work and is working really hard to be a beacon of inclusion in the equestrian sector.
