This permanent, full-time role will be based in our Bristol office, 5 days per week so the successful candidate will need to be able to commute to the office.
Overall Job Purpose
* Manage the internal control framework
* Complete internal and Group risk reporting
* Develop the Ayvens approach to incident management
Key Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate the internal control program.
* Co-ordinate the internal control campaign completion for the UK
* Monitor the timeliness and accuracy of control execution
* Communicate progress and escalate key issues throughout the campaign
* Implement any changes to system accesses and group requirements
* Provide training, advice and guidance to 1st line stakeholders
* Identify and implement process improvements
* Complete internal and Group risk reporting by providing risk reporting for directors, committees and Group
* Develop the Ayvens approach to incident management
* Undertake quality assurance on loss data
* Develop and improve the operational loss policy, processes and system
* Complete aggregate loss analysis
* Ad-hoc projects as required
Skills and Experience Required
* High standard of IT literacy is required (Word, PowerPoint, Office, Excel)
* An interest in process improvement
* Applicants must be willing to successfully complete an operational risk management qualification within 12 months of starting the role.
* Previous experience of internal control reporting, data analysis, quality assurance or complaint management would be advantageous
* Evidence of strong communication skills, both verbal and written and an ability to influence all levels of the business.
* Excellent attention to detail.
