This role is a Fixed Term Contract for a minimum of 12 months. The first 6 weeks training period you will be required to be 100% based in our Newport office (NP10 8UH). Onsite parking is available. The role will then revert to a hybrid approach of 2 days a week in the office and 3 days from home.
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Mortgage Remediation Executives to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cases of mortgage remediation, handling customer services queries for both closed and live accounts, active complaint management/dispute resolution and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Communicate directly with borrowers to explain findings and/or discuss remediation options.
* Process remediation payments and adjustments in loan servicing systems.
* General customer service and First Point of Contact complaint management.
* Undertake administrative tasks; processing activities such as debtor tracing, returned mail and workflow management.
* Provide support and assistance in other areas of loan/remediation servicing as needed.
The ideal Candidate will have:
* 2+ years of experience in customer service, Mortgage servicing, compliance, or a related financial field (desirable).
* Reasonable understanding of mortgage industry regulations.
* Proficient in, and familiar with loan servicing / claim management databases and software / remediation processing tools.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively handle vulnerable customers.
* Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
