Summary of the Position:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for all HR processes overseeing the UK and French offices.
2. Develop, contribute to and support the organisations mission, values, strategic goals and objectives. Participate as a contributing partner in the HCM strategic planning process.
3. Lead by example in modeling the organisation’s values and behaviours, providing coaching to colleagues as appropriate.
4. Identify opportunities, initiate and drive continual improvement in all areas of HCM.
5. Support Managing Director, HCM in managing European HCM policies and procedures and their dissemination through various employee communications.
6. Work with all functional and regional staff in the acquisition and/or disposition of assets in all EU countries, utilizing local counsel as appropriate.
7. Liaise with HQ on all global policies to ensure TS maintains a consistent approach to all employees globally.
8. Assist Managing Director, Human Capital in obtaining the needs and requirements from all functions and managing approved staff hiring with the business on an ongoing basis.
9. Lead the recruiter management process, ensuring that recruiters are using TS approved contract language.
10. Provide regular recruitment status updates to the European Managing Director and Global Head of Human Capital.
11. Work with vendors, employees and their families in International relocations, facilitating smooth transitions for the family as a whole.
12. Liaise with local counsel and tax professionals to ensure that all immigration and tax matters are handled properly.
13. Manage the welcome program for all European new employees that reviews their first 90 day, six month and 1 year experience, as well as including initial HCM, office, IT, and functional orientation.
14. Remain in regular contact with employees through extended leave periods to keep them engaged in Tishman Speyer’s culture and core values.
15. In coordination with the Managing Director, Human Capital, complete needs analysis, design, develop and implement training programs based on business and employee requirements, working with functional and regional managers as appropriate.
16. Determine metrics to evaluate training program successes.
17. Share results with Managers and educate the business on reviewing continued employee development.
18. Continually evaluate the European benefits program to ensure it supports the organisation’s strategic goals and values.
19. Develop and recommend programs that will enhance the Company’s goals.
20. Liaise with local brokers to understand the market and ensure that the Company maintains a high level of benefits as compared to the market, and that the programs themselves provide the highest value to employees.
21. Assess organisational climate by routinely obtaining employee input through a variety of means.
22. Work with the Managing Director, HCM to implement organisational change activities as appropriate.
23. Create and implement initiatives that promote a positive organisational culture and make Tishman Speyer a great place to work, including the organization wide global health and wellness initiative and the employee picnic.
24. Develop communication strategies to enhance employee engagement and inclusiveness in driving culture.
25. Assist employees’ in resolution of questions/problems in a timely manner.
26. Work with all survey companies to obtain the latest compensation data available in the marketplace and upload in to Workday compensation system, inclusive of compensation and bonus construct.
27. Utilise key recruiters to ascertain compensation ranges for all Managing Director and above positions within the region.
28. Educate managers in utilisation of compensation guidelines when reviewing employee compensation.
29. Educate business in the yearly performance evaluation process and tools, inclusive of evaluation completion, timeliness and providing effective feedback through evaluation forms and performance review discussions.
30. Perform all necessary administrative functions regarding payroll changes, including all aspects of international relocations, split pay and cost of living arrangement.
31. Perform all necessary administrative functions regarding new hires, transfers and terminations.
32. Prepare all employment contracts, management of probation periods, maternity leaves, etc.
33. Perform all other functions as required by the Managing Director, Human Capital Management.

1. Experience of working across multiple European countries, in particular good working experience of France standard employment policies.

3. Experience in operating recognized HR IS systems, preferably Workday.
