Job summary We are looking for motivated and dynamic pharmacists to join the department at Barts Health to participate in the rotational band 7 pharmacist programme. The programme includes 9-month rotations across the four different sites of Royal London hospital, St Bartholomew's hospital, Whipps Cross hospital and Newham hospital. Main duties of the job The post holder will work on the wards and deliver quality care to patients at ward level throughefficient medicines optimization. This will include the assessment of patient's own drugs,medicine reconciliation, original pack dispensing at ward level, counselling patients about their medicines and coordinating the supply of discharge medication. The post holder will work withtheir ward-based team to continually develop the service, while maintaining high standardsand achieving best practice to meet the needs of patients and the Trust.
