Responsibilities
* Manage all depot operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
* Build and nurture relationships with trade customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
* Lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve performance goals and enhance the customer experience.
* Implement strategies to improve depot efficiency and profitability while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
* Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Oversee stock levels, order materials, and supervise stock control processes.
* Prepare and report on the depot’s financial performance, including budgets and forecasts.
Skills and experience required
* Proven experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar management role within the building supplies or similar industry.
* Strong knowledge of building materials supplies and an understanding of trade customer needs.
* Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to drive business success.
* Proficient in inventory management and financial reporting.
