This role will have soul responsibility of the Management Accounting duties for the business - reporting into the FC. Client Details A global market leader in chemical and ingredients distribution. Description Looking after the management accounts for a £130million turnover business Becoming an active member of the management team, providing financial input and support. Liaising and dealing with all accounting queries/problems. Ad-hoc investigation work. Producing reconciled monthly and year-end accounts in accordance with agreed timetables Preparing annual budgets and forecasts Line managing and developing the assistant management accountant, and providing help and assistance to other colleagues within the team Central finance tasks/projects e.g. vehicle leasing, utilities, Capex analysis etc. Coordinating with auditors (both internal and external) VAT Returns Assisting head office with tax and statutory accounts preparation.Profile Good level of IT skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint Excel skills - Pivot Tables, Lookups Good communicator Attention to detail Team player Recognised Professional Accounting Qualification towards (such as CIMA or ACCA)Job Offer Working from home arrangements are currently 3 days in the office and 2 at home - more days in the office are allowed (and may be required to begin with or for busy periods), but generally no more than 2 days a week at home Start / finish times are flexible - 8:30am or 9:00am start with 4:30pm or 5:00pm finish 35 hour working week 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Company Pension Contributions - 6% matched Critical Illness cover Death in service Income protection Salary from £47k upwards DOE Study support
