The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, to join a well-established manufacturer based in Loughborough. As the main point of contact for all health & safety on site, the successful person will be a well-established professional within the sector.
Scope of the Role:
1. Advising all company employees on all HSE requirements, ensuring the company remains compliant.
2. Create and deliver HSE training programs.
3. Maintaining company ISO certification (14001 / 45001).
4. Continual awareness of changes in legislation and update company literature accordingly.
5. Carry out site health & safety inspections.
6. Accident investigation & reporting.
7. Issuing & control of permits to work.
8. Carry out internal audits and ensure site is external audit ready.
The Person:
1. Level 5 qualified in health & safety.
2. Experienced as a health & safety professional in a standalone role, with manufacturing environment experience.
3. Strong communicator with the confidence to influence across all areas of the business.
4. Has a hands-on approach to health and safety, to continue with the existing strong shop floor support and presence.
5. Qualified IMS internal auditor.
