As a Specialist Nurse Practitioner, you'll work autonomously to provide expert assessments for patients referred for cardioversion. You'll also deliver cardioversion treatments, conduct pre-implant counselling for Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs), and manage de-activation of ICDs and Link Implant procedures.

Main duties of the job
Are you a dedicated nurse ready to lead in a nurse-led arrhythmia service? We're seeking an Arrhythmia Specialist Nurse to make a difference in cardiac care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Order and interpret cardiology investigations
* Develop tailored patient management plans based on evidence-based guidelines
* Work flexibly across NES sector hospitals (FGH/RI/ROH) and collaborate with a dynamic multidisciplinary team
* Liaise with Cardiologists for expert clinical support
What We're Looking For:
* A Non-Medical Prescriber qualification
* A Level 7 clinical assessment qualification and advanced life support provider certification
* BHRS accreditation is a bonus, but we're open to candidates with significant coronary care experience willing to enhance their qualifications

* Wide-ranging in-depth knowledge of clinical issues in CHD, Atrial fibrillation/Flutter, syncope, palpitation, CIEDs

* Utilise highly developed physical skills, dexterity, hand/eye co-ordination for clinical skills e.g., assembling clinical equipment, venepuncture, giving IV injections, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and defibrillation
* Be able to undertake patient observations and monitoring and use relevant equipment safely
* Ability to travel to different geographical locations across the Trust footprint in line with service needs

* Full UK driving license with willingness to use own car for work purposes
