Reporting into the Lead Operator we are searching for several team members to join us as a Mobile Plant Operator at our Sittingbourne Plant.
This role requires the flexibility to work within the current shift pattern, which includes 12-hour shifts, both day and night and across some weekends.

What you'll be doing:
As a Mobile Plant Operator you will ensure manufacturing operations are safe, efficient, and compliant with customer specifications. Support decision-making, share insights on successes and challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to drive best practices on shift.
Responsibilities include:
* Uphold high standards of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality compliance.
* Organise your area with support from the Team Leader.
* Meet or exceed targets and KPIs.
* Accurately capture and manage data using systems like SAP.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues.
* Assist in identifying and resolving root-cause issues, including production problems and machine breakdowns, whilst escalating these to the maintenance teams.
* Perform quality checks to meet standards, working closely with Technical teams.
* Suggest ideas and solutions for continuous improvements, looking to enhance team performance, sharing knowledge and best practices.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Take action to minimise downtime and boost process efficiency.
* Utilise downtime for rework, maintenance, or compliance checks.
* Ensure area ownership and maintain good housekeeping.
* Perform any additional duties required to fulfill the role.
What we'd love for you to have:
* A high regard for health and safety standards with an understanding of H&S regulations.
* A good level of spoken & written English. IT literacy: proficiency in the basic functions of MS Office Word, Excel and SAP.
* Good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Flexibility to work within the current shift pattern, which includes both day and night shifts.
