With a reputation for excellence, we are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Small Works Coordinator to join our team and oversee a variety of small-scale projects.
The Role
As the Small Works Coordinator, you will be the linchpin between our clients, suppliers, and on-site teams, ensuring that all small M&E projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. This is a hands-on role where your organisational skills and technical knowledge will drive success across a variety of assignments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination: Plan, schedule, and oversee multiple small-scale M&E projects from start to finish.
2. Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent service throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Supplier Management: Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to procure materials, equipment, and services.
4. Team Coordination: Work closely with site teams to ensure smooth execution of works.
5. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
6. Budget Control: Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to management.
7. Problem Solving: Proactively address any issues or delays that arise during the project lifecycle.
About You
We’re looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional results.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in coordinating mechanical and/or electrical projects (preferably small works).
2. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and teams effectively.
4. A solid understanding of M&E systems and installation processes.
5. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
6. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
7. Full UK driving license (or equivalent, if applicable).
Desirable:
1. Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
2. Experience with procurement and cost management.
