The Company & Opportunity:
My client is looking for an experienced SENIOR AUTOMATION ENGINEER to support their business growth in the UK. My client is a rapidly growing £40m+ turnover compliance-based business in the Fire, Security, & Electrical contracting market, working across multiple sectors with a large concentration in the public sector.

Job Purpose:
Due to the awarding of the major long-term contract within the public sector, which has over 1000 sites nationwide and 4500 assets across those sites, a minimum of 12 engineers are needed across the country to ensure that all automatic doors, shutters, and gates are always working.
The successful candidate will have vast 'hands on' experience in these product sectors, a drive to provide a quality service and an attention to detail and customer service.
Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible within a wider team for performing preventative and reactive maintenance across all assets. This will ensure the systems are fully functional and safe to use, and any necessary upgrades are recommended to the client.

Experience/Requirements/Qualifications:
1. Ability to work on own initiative
2. Health and safety awareness
3. ADSA accredited | EN 16005 certificate
4. A proven history (3-5 years minimum) of installing, repairing, servicing and maintaining automatic entrance door systems, shutters and security automation equipment
5. Full UK driving license
6. Good written and oral communication skills
7. Computer literate
8. Excellent Problem-solving skills
9. Electrical skills
10. Desirable - DHF Qualification
