Job overview
As a Paediatric Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will be part of an exceptional theatre team at the Children’s Hospital for Wales, assisting in the delivery of anaesthesia and ensuring patient care.
Main duties of the job
1. Ensure the anaesthetic room is clean prior to commencing an operating session.
2. Maintain a quiet and professional atmosphere.
3. Check all anaesthetic equipment prior to the start of an operation.
4. Ensure all necessary equipment and anaesthetic requirements are available.
5. Assist in patient positioning for surgery, maintaining safety and dignity.
6. Ensure accurate storage and administration of drugs according to the department policy.
