This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and training in project delivery, with the potential to progress to a more senior project management position upon successful completion.
The ideal candidate will assist project teams in delivering projects, adhering to company health, safety, quality, and environmental systems. Key responsibilities include:
* Project Support: Assist project teams in delivering projects, adhering to company health, safety, quality, and environmental systems.
* Documentation & Coordination: Review project contracts, specifications, and schedules; coordinate with departments to meet deadlines and ensure smooth project execution.
* Communication & Reporting: Update Project Manager on project status, report any cost or timeline variations, and communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
* Meetings & Progress Monitoring: Organize project reviews, maintain schedules, and prepare progress reports. Attend client meetings, both in the UK and Ireland, when required.
* Contract Management: Ensure compliance with contract terms, manage variations, and minimize warranty claims.
In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain knowledge for progression to a Project Engineer role through on-the-job experience and formal training. This includes participating in regular reviews to monitor personal development progress and promoting health and safety, supervising subcontractors on-site, and assisting in developing Construction Phase Plans.
